Kai Cheng Thom
Kai Cheng is a Canadian Chinese author and former social worker. She writes essays on sexuality, gender identity, radical love and restorative justice. Her writing appears in Internet publications. She also published a book of poems.
Her most famous book, Fierce Femmes and Notorious Liars: A Dangerous Trans Girl’s Confabulous Memoirmade it to the finals of the Lambda Literary Award in 2017, and shortly thereafter, Kai Cheng received the Dayne Ogilvie Prize for debuting LGBTQ + writers.
