Natsuki Ikezawa

Natsuki Ikezawa (born 1945) – recognized Japanese poet, writer, translator from English and Greek. He comes from a family of writers; he initially studied physics but began creating when he dropped out of college and set out to explore the world. In 1988, he was awarded the Akutagawa Prize for Still Life. In 2011, the Ministry of Science, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan awarded his novel Subarashii Shin-Sekai. Ikezawa comes from Hokkaido.
