What are the opening hours of the bookstore?
The Tajfuny Bookstore at 12 Chmielna Street in Warsaw is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 11:00 to 19:00 (11 am to 7 pm).
Can I pay by card at the bookstore?
Of course, we accept cash, card and Blik payments. But due to the pandemic, we will be grateful for card payments, preferably contactless.
Can you put the books aside for me?
Contact us via Facebook or by e-mail at email@example.com. We will let you know if the book is available at the moment. The best way to reserve the book is to place an order in our online shop and collect from the shop personally. Then you are sure the book waits for you.
Where can I check what events take place in the Tajfuny bookstore?
We inform about all planned events on our Facebook profile: https://facebook.com/tajfunypl/ We encourage you to follow and participate in the events. But due to the pandemic, we are suspending the organization of events in the bookstore until further notice.
How has the operation of the bookstore changed in relation to the pandemic?
We ask all visitors to our bookstore to follow the safety rules. Let’s take care of each other. Only one person or a group of people living together can stay in the bookstore at a time. If you see customers inside, wait in front of the bookstore. After entering, put on a mask and disinfect your hands with a gel prepared by us (if you do not have a mask with you, we will give you a disposable one). Please pay by card, preferably contactless. Orders placed online are processed normally, although the time of their implementation may be a little longer. We ask for your understanding.
I saw a great book on your website. Will I also find it in the bookstore?
Yes! If a book has the status of available in stock, it means that it is in our bookstore in Chmielna. What is important, we only have one or two copies of some titles, so it may happen that someone will buy it right before you. If you really wish to have the title or you are coming to us from far away, write or call us to make sure that the book is in a bookstore. It is also worth ordering a book online with a personal collection in Chmielna – then you will definitely get it.
Can I come for my book before opening / after closing the bookstore?
Unfortunately, no – booksellers in Chmielna are available only during the opening hours of the bookstore, from Tuesday to Saturday from 11.00 to 19.00 (11 am to 7 pm).

What are the possible forms of delivery?

What are the possible payment methods/options?
You can make the payment via Przelewy24 (including BLIK, credit card, online transfer) or PayPal.
Do you ship abroad?
During the pandemic, due to difficulties in shipping abroad and frequently changing restrictions, we temporarily suspended the possibility of shipping abroad via Polish Post, which was the most frequently chosen form of shipping.
Shipment to European countries can be only done by DHL. After selecting the books to order and entering the shipping address, you will receive information about the delivery price.
Can I pick up an order from the online store in person?
Of course! Select this option when placing an order.
We will inform you by e-mail or by phone when your order is available for collection. The books will be ready to pick up at the Tajfuny Bookstore at 12 Chmielna st.
I haven't paid for my order yet. Where can I find the account number?
In the case of an instant transfer by Przelewy24 or PayPal, you will be redirected to the payment page. Choose your bank, log in and pay for the order. In case of the problems with payment gateways, the option of a traditional transfer to the following account is available:

If you pay for the order by traditional transfer, please send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org, informing about the payment of the order. It will help us if you attach a payment confirmation to your e-mail. Remember that the order should be paid within 2 days, otherwise it will be marked in our system as canceled.
Can I change the content of my order?
It all depends on the stage of implementation of your order. In such cases, please always contact us by writing e-mail to: email@example.com.
Can I specify the time of delivery by courier?
If you have chosen DHL courier delivery, you will receive an SMS with a notification about the planned delivery. You can arrange changes to the time or day of delivery or pick up at a DHL Parcel Shop point yourself by contacting DHL.
When will my parcel arrive?
We always inform you about the progress of your order via e-mail. When the order is shipped/sent, we will inform you about its tracking number. You can find the planned delivery day on the shipment tracking page of your chosen carrier.
I would like to change my delivery address or parcel locker. Is it possible?
Of course, but it all depends on the stage of implementation of your order. If the order is still in our hands, we can easily redirect the shipment to a different delivery address.

Order cancellation and goods return
How can I cancel my order?
If the order has already been paid and is in progress, please contact us by writing the e-mail to email@example.com.
Unpaid orders are automatically canceled after 2 days.
I got an email saying my order had been canceled. Why?
Orders placed in the online store must be paid within 2 days. After this time, the order will be canceled. If you have made the payment after the deadline or you have another problem related to the payment – contact us by writing e-mail to the address firstname.lastname@example.org and entering the number of your order in the title or content of the e-mail.
I would like to return the purchased book. How can I do this?
If you bought books in our online bookstore, you have 14 days to return the entire order or part of it. Write to us at e-mail address email@example.com, including the number of your order and the quantity and title of the item you want to return. We will inform you back about accepting the cancellation.
The books that you have decided to return should be packed carefully and sent to the bookstore: Tajfuny, ul. Chmielna 12, 00-020 Warsaw. When we receive the parcel, you will receive a refund from us – to the card from which the payment was made via Przelewy24 or PayPal.
Subscription to Tajfuny Mini
How does the subscription system for the Mini series work?
You can purchase the books from the Tajfuny Mini series published in a calendar year in the so-called subscription – in advance. We plan the Mini Tajfuny series in advance for the whole year.
Books will go to your mailbox right after publication, just like a subscription to a magazine or newspaper.

What are the possible forms of shipping books by subscription?
Books in subscription can be ordered to pick up in person or by shipment: by Polish Post, DHL or to the Inpost parcel locker (Paczkomat).

Gift coupons/ vouchers/ cards
I received a gift coupon. How can I use it?
There is a code on the coupon (both in paper and electronic version). When you add selected items to the basket, enter it in the “Enter coupon” field – the basket will automatically deduct its value from the order.
If the value of your purchases exceeds the coupon value, you will be able to pay the difference by a credit card or via the Przelewy24 or PayPal systems.
