Another novel for Murakami fans who prefer the less fantastic of his stories. So if you’ve already read Norwegian Wood or Sputnik Sweetheart, you should also enjoy Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki .
The main character is a young man, Tsukuru Tazaki, who recalls his university years and the four close friends with whom he broke off contact overnight. They all have names and surnames referring to colors, and only Tsukuru doesn’t – hence the title colorless. Soon he embarks on a sentimental journey that will help him not only to solve the mystery of this difficult destruction of friendship, but simply to look inside his own self.
