NANG is a biannual print-only magazine entirely dedicated to cinema in Asia. Each number has a different topic and is curated by a different editor, who leaves their own personal touch.
NANG 6 is about Manifestos – the moments in history of cinematography when the artists had to take a stand. When they had and wanted to speak out, to demand change or – to the contrary – fight to oppose them. More often then never, those were the voices crying alone. Still, they were full of zeal and fervor, and somehow prophetic. In this number, you can find 12 of such manifestos from different parts of Asia.
