Vietnamese: Simple Vietnamese Food to Cook at Home is another of Hardie Grant Books‘ beautifully published cookbooks. Uyen Luu presents over 85 recipes for dishes that can be easily (with more or less effort) prepared at home.
The selection of recipes here is probably the most comprehensive of all books about Vietnamese cuisine on Tajfuny shelves. They are divided into eight categories, from simple toppings for rice or salads, through dishes for special occasions, to desserts. In addition to pho soup or bahn mi, you will also find interesting recipes inspired by different cultures that influenced the flavors of Vietnam: croissant pudding, wonton soup or chicken wings, but all with a unique twist. All the photographs are full of vibrant colors.
This is an ideal book for people who like to experiment with new flavors, but do not have much time for it. And it will be especially useful in spring/summer, because the recipes are full of fresh vegetables!
