Andrzej Świrkowski

Andrzej Świrkowski — Japanologist, a lecturer at the Department of Japanese Studies of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. Former fellow at the Japanese Ministry of Education of Waseda University. His main research area are Japanese Literary Studies. Świrkowski works on promoting and translating pre-war literature on the borderline of crime, horror and fantasy genres.

He is an author of an outstanding introduction to Gąsienica, a collection of short stories by Ranpo Edogawa, published by Tajfuny.
