Yosa Buson

Buson Yosa (1716-1784) – Japanese haiku poet and painter. Like his contemporary rival, Ike no Taiga, he created paintings in the so-called bunjin-ga literary style, originating from southern China. He is considered to be one of the greatest poets of the Edo period.
