Fushigi na Toshokan is a title that has not yet had a Polish version; An inconspicuous, tiny book, but its interior will surprise you with a real feast for the eyes – thanks to Maka Sasaki’s illustrations.
In Fushigi on Toshokan there is a library, dark, full of secrets and traps; there is a boy trapped in it, there is, known to fans of this author, Sheep Man – out favourite at Tajfuny. Along with the author’s narration, illustrations and typography integrated into the text lead the reader through an intriguing story.
This book will certainly please people who devour Murakami in any quantity, as well as those who are just trying to convince themselves. The novel will also be great for those of you who are looking for “true” literature, but written in a slightly simpler language.
The book is also available in English.
