Trope Hong Kong is the fourth album in the Trope City Editions series, which presents metropolises in contemporary and realistic shots. In this beautifully published album you will find 238 photos on matte paper, taken by 17 young photographers from Hong Kong and beyond.
The album consists of 7 thematic chapters, each with a map of the places where the photos were taken. You will see the city from a bird’s eye view and under the cover of night, its streets, alleys, markets and shops, means of transport, as well as less known angles, shown in details, patterns or colors. Sometimes it’s the same building or street, from a different side, at a different time of year, in neon lights at night or during the day… The photos emphasize how different one city, nestled between the mountains and the sea, can be.
