North Korea is a country that we mainly associate with a political regime and it is hard for us to imagine that we could have anything to do with it. But for people living in Poland (especially in Warsaw) monuments, buildings (residential and more representative) in the socialist realism style are nothing new.
The authors of the book show the photos of the most interesting buildings, and each of them has a short description – all photos are kept in pastel tones, which shows that Pyongyang can offer not only the grey with which we can associate it. At the very end, you will find a city map with previously described buildings marked and sections of the most interesting of them. And for dessert, essays on the history of the city and North Korean architecture in general.
